Lowes in Mill Hall:   Currently hiring for Full Time, Part Time and Seasonal positions. Seasonal positions are a great opportunity for college students staying in the area over the summer months. Lowe’s is also able to accommodate class schedules for students who work during the school year.

SUMMER

Camp Counselors are needed for summer: FLS International Summer Camp Counselors - FLS International seeks outgoing and responsible camp counselors to lead international students in short-term summer tour programs in June - August.

Preferred qualifications include strong communication skills, experience with customer service, leadership, working with diverse cultures, working with youth programs or summer camps.  Camp counselors are responsible for supervising group activities, organizing program logistics, informing students about sights and attractions, and interacting with students to facilitate English language practice. Counselors must maintain a professional and personable demeanor and have a strong customer service orientation.

LHU TESTING CENTER SERVICES Testing Center Administrator/Proctor 

JOB DESCRIPTION: The LHU Testing Center Administrator/Proctor will be working as a Part-time Test Administrator / Proctor for our LHU Testing Center Services located in Raub Hall 103 & 106. 

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Our ideal candidate demonstrates flexibility and teamwork. 
This is strictly a part-time position and will remain as such.
Ability to work test center hours as published and are subject to change with notice.

Responsibilities: The Test Administrator/Proctor position is responsible for providing a secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a comfortable friendly environment.
A test administrator and proctor…Understands and complies with all testing procedures and maintains certifications required by PearsonVUE.
Checks in examinees, verifies identification, and explains the exam process.Monitors examinees while testing.
Maintains a secure testing environment.
Communicates with internal departments to investigate and fix technical issues.
Strictly adheres to company policies using careful judgment.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  Minimum of 1 year customer service experience required.Strong communication skills are a must.
Must be flexible in work hours and days.
Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment.
Beginner to Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be available over the summer.
Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

  Student Photographer Summary: The photographer will shoot footage of events on/off campus, as well as graphically edit the photos if needed. He/she will work closely with the creative director to execute each concept through to completion.  Specific responsibilities:

  • Transport, set up, and operations of various production equipment including cameras, A/V equipment, etc.
  • Operate and maintain proper techniques when using production equipment
  • Edit and develop any photographs needed for production
  • Responsible for developing ideas to promote LHU to incoming students, current students, faculty, and staff by utilizing video and digital photos.
  • Willingness and availability to attend numerous LHU/LHU-related events to photograph.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Helping to sustain and guide the creative process
  • Assist in production with the student videographer

Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with photography and the use of photography equipment. Knowledge of editing equipment and software programs related to photography. Strong written and oral communication skills, with a good command of the English language. Good organizational skills and a strong work ethic. Salary:7.25 per hour

Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with filming and video editing software.  Knowledge of video editing programs. Strong written and oral communication skills with a good command of the English language. Good organizational skills and a strong work ethic. Salary:7.25 per hour
