  • Mathematics Tutoring Position : The math tutoring center is looking to hire several peer tutors.

    Tutors will need to have a minimum of 30 credits with a minimum GPA of a 3.0. Minimum required course work is MATH141 Calculus 1 or better. It is suggested that tutors also have Basic Statistics, Geometry and Statistics, Number Systems and a strong algebra background. In addition, all tutors will be required to take ADAC200 as your formal training. ADAC200 is offered 5:10-6:20 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.

  • Game Announcers – speaking clearly and professionally
  • Scoreboard/Clock Operators – Knowledgeable about game rules, ability to work under pressure
  • On-Field Assistant –down on the field to relay substitutions, clock changes, etc.

    We need committed students to help make the events run smoothly.
    We need available students to work evenings and most weekends


The Office of Disability Services for Students hire students for the following student employment positions:

  • Note taker: Provide a copy of the class notes (you must be enrolled in the course)

  •  Exam Proctor: Supervise and instruct students utilizing academic accommodations for exams 

  • Reader for exams or to provide audio materials: Work one on one with students registered with ODSS to provide hard copy materials in the audio format

  •  Office Assistant: All of the above plus data entry, manipulating Excel database, create & file office files, etc.  

    All positions pay minimum wage $7.25/hr.  You must be currently enrolled for classes at LHU and have a GPA of 2.5 and above
