ON CAMPUS - Center Assistant - Betty B. Schantz Tutorial Center - Stevenson Library, 2 nd floor

This is a working position with responsibilities.  If you are looking for a job where you are paid to sit and do your homework, do not apply.  You are expected to be mindful of what’s going on in the Center at all times and execute the following responsibilities:

  1. Be attentive and welcoming to everyone who comes through the door from the stairway.
  2. Answer student's questions about tutoring and help them sign up.
  3. Be willing and able to help with class visits, i.e. explain Tutorial Services to the classes.
  4. Take accurate statistics.
  5. Pitch in for cleanliness, e.g.,
  6. Straighten chairs and tables
  7. Clean whiteboards and make sure markers and erasers are ready to use
  8. Attend occasional meeting, approximately once a month
  9. Be able to execute opening and closing procedures if on either first or last shifts. M-TH - 9:00-9:00 hourly shifts, Fri. – 9:00-3:00 shifts.
  10. Requires a GPA of 3.0 or above.

OFF CAMPUS - Woolrich, Inc., the Original Outdoor Clothing Company is seeking individuals to wear Men’s clothing for in house product evaluation at our Woolrich, PA location.
